The Dynamic Braking Resistor is a high-performance braking solution specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern ports and material handling operations. It is primarily adapted for heavy-duty scenarios such as port cranes, yard gantry cranes, and dock equipment.
This Braking Resistor features a robust and weather-resistant housing. The indoor model has a protection level of IP20, while the outdoor model has IP54 protection. It can withstand salt fog, moisture, dust, and wide temperature fluctuations, perfectly adapting to harsh coastal and industrial environments. The resistor components are made of high-grade SUS304, SUS430 stainless steel or alloy wires, offering excellent corrosion resistance and maintaining stable electrical performance even under repeated thermal cycling.
The product power ranges from 1kW to 200kW, with a voltage range of 48V to 1200V AC. The working cycle (ED) can be customized between 10% and 100%, enabling it to easily handle frequent and high-inertia braking pulses of equipment such as cranes and winches, and ensuring stable operation without capacity reduction.

The Dynamic Braking Resistor adopts a sturdy and weather-resistant casing design, which can resist the erosion of harsh port environments and ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
The peak power and wide working cycle design can absorb the frequent high-energy braking pulses of equipment such as cranes, without performance degradation; the stainless steel resistor elements and high-strength connecting bolts can withstand continuous vibration and impact, and have stable mechanical performance.
The optimized thermal management system ensures efficient heat dissipation, and the low inductance layout is compatible with modern frequency converters and braking choppers, while supporting full customization. The protection level, component material, wiring method, etc. can all be adjusted as needed to adapt to various scenarios. For each Dynamic Braking Resistor, we take strict packaging measures. First, it is wrapped with a waterproof film, then fixed with heavy-duty steel straps, and then placed on a reinforced export pallet and equipped with foam cushioning. For international transportation, we can provide fumigated plywood crates in accordance with ISPM 15 standards. We also prepare complete transportation documents in advance to ensure smooth customs clearance.
All Dynamic Braking Resistor units undergo final inspection and electrical testing before packaging to ensure they arrive in perfect working condition.
